Welcome to Parentwise, a highly professional Midwife lead service, running birth preparation classes. Designed for couples looking for quality antenatal education at a time convenient to suit them.

You'll enjoy small, friendly classes where you can build lifelong friendships and support networks whilst preparing for your baby's arrival.

Birth Preparation Course Detail

Evening Courses
Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm

Duration: 6 weeks
Price: £180 per couple (payable when booking)

Course Dates
Courses are run regularly, go to the Course Date  pages to find a course that suits you.

Group Size
Group sizes are kept small to ensure that every one gets to know each other really well.

When to start the course
The ideal time to start a course is between 25 and 30 weeks pregnant. However this is just a guideline and will not preclude you from any course.

If you are expecting twins then earlier start date is recommended.

Course Reunion
An integral part of all Parentwise courses is to generate lasting friendships and form a strong support network. As part of that ethos a free course reunion will take place approximately a month after the last mother of the group gives birth. It is hoped that this will encourage new parents to set up their own regular 'coffee mornings' and continue the mutual support.
