One of the most effective tools to get you through labour is with you at all times - your breath. It is natures natural pain relief.  We all know that our breathing changes during different situations, if you are anxious or stressed it becomes harder to breath but by focusing your breathing you can re-ground yourself and overcome the obstacles at hand, so why not employ this technique during labour as well.

What are the benefits of breathing during labour? It gives you something to focus on
💕It keeps you calm and relaxed
💕It helps you to manage your contractions and remain in control
💕Relaxed mama = more relaxed birth

This is where the support of the birth partner is essential! They can help count your breaths and keep your breathing on track and steady. Making sure mum remain calms and relaxed!
During our 6 week Parentwise course we can help you to learn progressive muscle relaxation techniques for the different stages of labour and how you can use these effectively. .
Remember - practise, practise, practise!
